What is a custom spray tan?
A custom spray tan is a one-on-one, personalized spray tanning session with a professional sunless technician. The spray tech uses a high-pressure spray gun to apply sunless solution to the areas you desire during your scheduled session. Sessions are often full body applications; however, legs only or face only can be done as well. By allowing a professional to apply the solution vs. an automated machine, you can ensure a flawless, even application, especially on those hard to reach areas such as the back. Sessions typically last around 15-30 minutes, including drying time. Results can be expected to last 5-7 days.
The Science Behind Spray Tanning
Sunless tanning solutions contain DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), a naturally derived ingredient from sugar cane and beets. DHA is a non-toxic formula and is approved by the FDA. The DHA reacts with amino acids found in the outer layers of your skin. This reaction then develops into a beautiful, golden tan that looks natural and will fade evenly as if it came directly from the sun, but without any of the side effects.
Stay Golden only uses premium solutions containing the highest quality, organic DHA available. Our solutions are 100% vegan and cruelty free. They are free of gluten, nut allergens, and parabens and are noncomedogenic.
What happens during a Stay Golden mobile Airbrush Tan?
We visit you in your home (event room or office) and spray you inside of our pop-up studio tent. We bring along everything we need to create a CUSTOM TO YOU solution blend that will give you the most natural looking, "fresh off the beach" tan.
Once we are finished (around 20 minutes per tan), we fold up our tent and out we go! It's simple, easy, and leaves behind zero trace of tanning solution.
